Ahwahnee is one of only a handful of companies today having both CNT R&D and manufacturing capabilities.  Ahwahnee is patenting a new process that will allow large volumes of CNTs to be economically produced. This technological feat will ignite the market for CNTs, one previously considered impossible due to the scarcity and high cost of these materials.  Besides selling and helping to integrate CNTs into a number of industries, Ahwahnee is also applying CNT technology to create a series of its own energy-related products.

The Ahwahnee Technology team has been working on CNT-related technologies for more than ten years and constantly exchanges research results with worldwide scientists.  Currently, the Ahwahnee Technology team is conducting multiple CNT-related research projects with their focus on three key areas:

• Cost-effective production methods for high quality Single-walled and Multi-walled CNTs
• Good control of properties and modular structures of CNTs
• Innovative applications of Single-walled and Multi-walled CNTs

Besides internal R&D, Ahwahnee will accumulate CNT knowledge quickly through collaborations with companies holding outside expertise, as well as with academia and government institutions.
