Shang-Che Cheng, Chief Executive Officer and President
As CEO and President, Mr. Cheng conducts day-to-day operations and makes key decisions for Ahwahnee Technology. Prior to founding Ahwahnee Technology, Mr. Cheng was co-founder and Chief Technology Officer of Uniscape, a recognized leader in enterprise globalization management software, which was named by Upside magazine as one of the “Hot 100” private companies for 2001. Mr. Cheng participated and successfully raised $37.8 million in funding for Uniscape from Sequoia, EDS, Mitsui, Fortune and Acer and grew the company to 160 employees, later playing a key role in merging Uniscape with a Germany company (June 2002). Prior to founding Uniscape, Mr. Cheng worked at Oracle for 11 years where he supervised and developed foundation technologies for Oracle’s ERP and globalization systems. Mr. Cheng holds a Masters in Computer Science from North Texas University.
Alex Tsai, Vice President,
Asia Pacific Region
As Vice President of the Asia Pacific Region, Mr. Tsai is introducing
Ahwahnee Technology’s products in the region and building tighter
partnerships with regional nanotechnology researchers and
applications manufacturers. Prior to co-founding Ahwahnee
Technology, Mr. Tsai founded one of the largest marketing companies
in Taiwan. An industry veteran, Mr. Tsai has more than 20 years of
experience promoting products in the Asia Pacific region.
Dr. Paul Dennig, CTO
A creative researcher that worked for IBM to drive strategic roadmaps for new products. Also worked on nucleation and growth of diamond crystallites and thin films for electronic and optical applications for Japan's National Institute for Research in Inorganic Materials. Dr. Dennig holds a Doctorate in Materials Science from Stanford University.
James R. Kurinsky, Vice
President, Business Development
As a 30+ year veteran of technology early stage companies and
turn around situations, Mr. Kurinsky is responsible for the growth
of Ahwahnee’s global business relationships and revenue generation.
He was co-founder and VP Sales and Marketing for Televideo Systems
in the late 1970’s which grew from inception to $150 MM in under 4
years, eventually going IPO in the early 1980’s. He has extensive
global business experience both with his own employers and as a
consultant to European and Japanese companies. He successfully
launched 9 international technology companies into the US market in
under 4 years. He also participated in multiple turnaround
situations for venture capital companies, his two most notable being
Adaptec and Ampex, both Silicon Valley based businesses. |
